Jaclyn Parson, Founder & CEO
Jaclyn is an accounting and business operations leader with more than a decade of experience working inside businesses at nearly every stage, from small, owner-operated companies to fast-growing, multi-state organizations. Her experience spans accounting and finance, payroll, compliance, people operations, contracts, technology, financial modeling, budgeting, and strategic planning.
What sets Jaclyn apart is her ability to see beyond one department. She understands how a decision in finance can impact operations, how payroll connects to project profitability, how the right software can eliminate hours of manual work, and how stronger processes can give an owner a clearer picture of their business. Throughout her career, she has built finance and operations teams from the ground up, managed complex multi-state payroll and sales tax, implemented company-wide software systems, supported fundraising and board reporting, and worked across industries including construction, agriculture, professional services, and wine.
Jaclyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University, but she’s just as comfortable digging into an operational challenge as she is digging into the numbers.
Through T-1, she brings that experience directly to business owners—offering a partner who can understand the big picture, identify what needs attention, and help execute the work to get it done.
Our Story: Small but Strong
T-1 Accounting & Business Operations was founded by Jaclyn Parson to bring strength, structure, and experienced support to the financial and operational side of business. After more than a decade working across accounting, finance, compliance, payroll, people operations, technology, and strategy, Jaclyn saw firsthand that business owners often don’t need help with just one piece, they need someone who understands how all the pieces work together.
The name T-1 carries a much more personal meaning. Jaclyn’s late father used to compare her to T-1 steel: small but strong. What started as a dad’s way of describing his daughter became a fitting philosophy for the company she would one day build.
T-1 is rooted in that same idea of resilience: being strong enough to handle pressure, dependable when it matters, and providing support where it’s needed most. Today, Jaclyn brings that mindset to businesses from $0–$10 million in revenue, helping owners strengthen what’s happening behind the scenes so they can focus on what they do best.
